Summer is here and so is our longing for getaways and adventures to places new and old with friends, loved ones or as a solo wanderer.
Every year during Modernism week I attend the Palm Springs Vintage Trailer Show like a kid at See’s Candy full of glee and anticipation, my imagination runs wild with fantasies of the gypsy caravan lifestyle, freedom and the great open spaces. A less complicated life with simple pleasures in a tiny home. Going small does not mean skimping on luxury. I mean Jeannie lived in a tiny home right?
Despite my infatuation I do not have my own trailer as storage has become impractical and very expensive from my research so I have to rent them as needed at this point. Please let me know if you know of an inexpensive parking space in Palm Springs.
Real estate agent Paul Kaplan has the cutest vintage Argosy which has been beautifully redone while still preserving the original bathroom, kitchen and appliances. Perfectly decorated with lots of orange accents, huge windows letting maximum light in and the original vintage phone. What would Cher Do pillows, zebra print upholstery, Beaded curtains and furry rugs. Adorable!!!!!!
I thought this lady with her dog were as cute as the trailer we were standing in. Maybe she is contemplating a luxury doghouse
I hope these lovely trailers have brought you joy and inspiration
Thanks for visiting Palm Springs Fabulous
